The ladies of the Magnolia Regional Health Center Auxiliary are inviting the public to a holiday sale that is held annually to help others.

The MRHC Auxiliary Christmas open house will be held Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the hospital gift shop.

A wide range of items will be available for purchase at the open house, just in time for early Christmas shopping. Items for sale include a variety of handmade goods, including homemade knit and crocheted scarves, Christmas decorations, baby blankets, food items and much more.

Proceeds from the annual gift shop sale are used for several hospital- and medical-related causes, including blankets for newborns and college scholarships for local medical students. This year the Magnolia Auxiliary gave 15 scholarships to area medical students.

The gift shop is located near Entrance B in the main hospital building.

(For more information, contact the hospital gift shop at 293-1052.)
