The Corinth Salvation Army needs the community’s help in a last-minute push to get Christmas toys for local kids with this year’s Angel Tree program.

“The deadline was Monday at 5 p.m., but we still have 22 children that weren’t adopted,” said Michelle Miles, director of the Corinth Salvation Army.

The Angel Tree names for the 22 kids still in need have been taken off the tree at Corinth Walmart and taken to the Salvation Army building on Lackey Drive.

To adopt these kids, all one has to do is call the Salvation Army at 287-6979, Miles said.

Miles praised the people of the Corinth area for always coming through in a pinch when it comes to adopting kids for the Angel Tree program in past years.
