The anointed event will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Indian Springs United Methodist Church, located at 541 County Road 300.
Featured entertainment will include “The Pounders Family” of Olive Branch, David McMillen of New Albany and Pam Gardner “Still Blessed” of Tupelo.
Approximately two to two hours and 15 minutes in length, the gospel concert is free and open to the public. However, a free will love offering will be accepted to reimburse the talent for their time and travel costs.
“As a promoter, this is the first big gospel singing that has been held in Glen to the best of my knowledge, but it certainly won’t be the last,” said Randy Black who books the acts. “This is an event for the entire community regardless of race, sex, denomination or creed – a chance to come together in worship and lift our hands and prayers up to the Lord.”
Continuing their efforts to bring inspiring gospel music to the Crossroads area, Small Town Promotions has tentatively scheduled another free gospel concert for 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at Indian Springs United Methodist Church of Glen.
