He started off with other interests but Ricky Holland of Corinth today says he “loves” his job as president/owner of Corinthian Funeral Home. The business opened in 1992 and Holland said he got his start working for Bill McPeters back in 1988 and he worked for McPeters until the business sold. “I was going to college for accounting at the time, but I fell in love with the funeral business,” said Holland. He explained that he looks at the business as more of a ministry than a job. “If I can help someone through some of the worst days of their lives, then I have accomplished something,” he said. Holland and his wife Nena will celebrate 38 years of marriage this June. He attends Acton Church of Christ in Acton, Tenn. / Staff Photo by L.A. Story
