An Alcorn County man faces a felony drug charge following a traffic stop.

Jordan Neil Talley was arrested on Monday and charged with possession of methamphetamine enhanced with a firearm. He is out of jail on $10,000 bond.

Sheriff Ben Caldwell said the arrest followed a traffic stop about 5:30 a.m. on County Road 512 near Kossuth. Talley was allegedly found to be in possession of a .22-caliber handgun in addition to the methamphetamine.

Narcotics Investigator Adam Rencher is in charge of the case.
