The six-month-old infant reported missing Friday has been found, Corinth Police Chief Ralph Dance told the Daily Corinthian about 11 a.m. Saturday.

Zayden Joyner was found in Tippah County on Saturday morning and is custody of the Mississippi Department of Human Services, said Dance.

“The baby is okay,” said the police chief.

An Endangered/Missing Child Alert was issued Friday night by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI).

The infant was last seen in Corinth trailer park about 8 p.m. Friday and was accompanied by Pricilla Parmley-Joyner, said the MBI.

Detective Heather Russell of the Corinth Police Department assisted in the investigation.

She credited the Tippah County Sheriff's Department for the baby's safe outcome.

"They are awesome," she said.
