IUKA — While there have been some possible sightings, there are still no solid leads on a 43-year-old Iuka woman who has been missing since last week.

According to a report from the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department, Susie Rena Lanier was reported missing by her husband on June 6.

Sheriff John Daugherty said Lanier’s husband came home and found she was missing. She was last seen by neighbors walking in the area around County Road 255 in Tishomingo County.

Law enforcement has searched the surrounding area with dogs.

“We’ve had some sightings around Corinth and in the Florence, Ala. area. We have followed up, but can’t confirm any of them. We have no solid leads as of yet,” said Daugherty.

Lanier is described as a caucasian, 5’5” and about 115 pounds. She has blond hair and green eyes.

The sheriff is asking for the public’s assistance in locating this woman.
