Kossuth Athletic Boosters Meet

The Kossuth athletic booster club will meet Thursday, October 12 at 6 pm in the high school cafeteria. Be prepared to turn in all raffle tickets.

Walnut Firehouse 5K

The 12th Annual Walnut Firehouse 5K Walk/Run will be held Saturday, October 14 at 8:30 a.m. starting at the firehouse on Hwy. 15.

There will be a shotgun start led by a fire truck with door prizes and trophies for the top 3 finishers in each category including Masters and Grand Masters. Registration forms should be brought to the town office at 621 Main Street.

Race Day registration will be from 7:00-8:10 a.m with a general registration fee of $25. Walnut Run Club members will receive a $2 discount. There will be division from 0-9 thru 75-and up. This is a USATF certified course and shirts are guaranteed to the first 150 participants.

Michie Firehouse 5K

The Michie Firehouse 5K and Community Walk will take place Saturday, October 21 starting at 9 a.m. at the Michie Fire Department at 5725 Hwy. 22 South.

Junior Golf Tornament Open To Area Youth

Corinth junior golfers ages 11-18 are invited to compete in the AJGT Armentor Law Corp. Fall Junior Classic in Carencro, LA. at Farm d’Allie Golf Club October 21-22.

The two-day, 36-hole event is ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard and hosted by the Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour. The Tournament entry fee is $195 and includes two days of green fees, tee gifts and trophies in four age divisions.

Shiloh Ridge Hosting Outdoor Walking Club

The Shiloh Ridge Athletic Club will be hosting an ‘Outdoor Walking Club’ twice a week until winter weather no longer permits.

There is no cost to be a part of this health-wise activity. You just need to possess the desire to be healthy. The club will walk Monday’s from 6:00-7:00 p.m. It will also walk on Wednesday’s from 7:00-8:00 a.m.

Northeast Basketball Lil’ Dribblers Camp

Northeast Community College will host it’s annual ‘Lil’ Dribblers Camp’ each Saturday morning prior to Thanksgiving during the month of November from 9:30-11:00 a.m. inside Bonner Arnold Coliseum.

Win A Trip to Disney World!

You have another opportunity to help raise money for Havis’ Kids while possibly winning a trip to Disney yourself.

During this fundraiser you can purchase individual tickets for $25 or purchase 5 tickets for $100. The drawing will be held on May 6, 2018 and the winner must present the winning ticket to Havis Hurley in order to claim the trip. However, people do not have to be present to win on this date.

Winning tickets must be used the week of October 7-13, 2018. The tickets are good for a family of four. There will be a 5-day premium park hopper or a 4-day premium park-hopper with one 2-park ticket to Universal. Tickets also include 6 nights at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
