The Ray Weeks era at Tishomingo County came to an end Monday after only four games.

The veteran coach was relieved of his head coaching duties Monday and replaced with interim head coach Jim McKay

McKay will coach TCHS the remainder of the season before a coaching search begins.

Concerning the situation school officials released the following statement:

‘Jim McKay, veteran coach of Tishomingo County High School, has been named interim head coach. Coach McKay is in his fourth year at TCHS. Former head coach Ray Weeks has done an outstanding job; however, TCHS administration has decided to pursue a different avenue for the remainder of the season. TCHS wishes coach Weeks and his family the best for the future.’
