The plan for Dudy Noble Field, which was released on Tuesday, has a double-tiered grandstand with chair-back seating, an elevated concourse that circles the playing field, improved field lighting, a high-definition video board and additional team areas.
The stadium will also have 50 skyboxes and additional premium seating. Mississippi State says a timetable for construction will be based on its Bulldog Club meeting a $20 million fundraising goal.
Mississippi State athletic director Scott Stricklin said in a statement that the renovations will "provide our players, coaches and fans the best ballpark in all of college baseball."
Mississippi State averaged 8,127 fans per game last season, which ranked third nationally behind LSU and Arkansas.
