You can register online until April 20, but paper registration forms must be received by April 19. Race day registration starts at 6:30 AM and packet pickup will be available from 6:30-7:45 AM race day morning. The park gate fee will be waived for those registered for the event.

•The Corinth Alcorn Parks & Recreation Department is offering sign-up dates for 2017 Spring/Summer activities.
You can sign up between April 3-21 for Babe Ruth, ages 13 thru 15, and 14U and 16U Softball for ages 13-16; Tennis lessons and tournaments for all ages and abilities (both individual & group). All sign-up meetings will take place at the park. There will be a sign-up meeting for the Adult Kickball League on April 18 at 6pm.

*There will be a four person golf scramble at Hillandale Golf Course in Corinth on Saturday, April 22 to raise money for the Sikes Lyles Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Tee time is 8 AM and the cost is $40 per person or $160 per team. There will be trophies awarded to the winning team and to the person with the longest drive.
Entry forms can be picked up Hillandale, on the Booneville and New Albany campuses of Northeast Community College, Walnut High School and at the front desk of the Daily Corinthian.

•The 2017 Rebel Road Trip, presented by Bancorpsouth, rolls into Corinth Monday, April 24 at the Crossroads Arena.
The annual event will begin at 5:30 and will feature Ole Miss head football coach Hugh Freeze and Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Ross Bjork. Both will offer a preview of the upcoming football season.
Tickets are $25 per person or $300 for a reserved table of eight and includes a catfish and chicken dinner. Proceeds will benefit the TriState Rebel Club’s local scholarship program. To purchase advance tickets contact Tony Smith at 901-831-8669 or Kim Lyles at 662-415-6308.
•Kossuth High School will host a 3-man scramble team draw benefit tournament at Whispering Pines golf course on April 29.
The cost is $40 with cart included and includes two nine hole rounds. Players will be divided into groups A, B, and C. Fifty percent of the entry fee will be put into the winning pot. •The Adamsville (TN) High School tennis team will sponsor a non-sanctioned tennis tournament April 28-30. The event is open to all and will take place at Buford Pusser Memorial Park in Adamsville.
