BOONEVILLE — Martha Bell Pierce, 81, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017 at her residence. Patterson Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

TUPELO — Patti Blackburn, 63, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center, in Tupelo. Magnolia Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Anthony “Tank” Meeks

STANTONVILLE, Tenn. — Funeral services for Anthony “Tank” Meeks, 48, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pisgah Methodist Church in Michie, Tenn., with the Rev. Clark Culver officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Funeral Home and continue Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Mr. Meeks died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, in Stantonville, Tenn.

Julia Moffitt Potts

A Celebration of Life for Julia Moffitt Potts, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Bro. Raybon Richardson will conduct the service and burial will be at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and will continue from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Potts passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, and went to be with our Lord after an extended battle with cancer.

BOONEVILLE — Funeral services for Daniel Elvy Wilson, Jr. (a.k.a. “Tiny”, Danny or Dan), 62, be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Snowdown Church of Christ with Mr. Don Green, Mr. James P. Wilson, and Mrs. Ada Christian speaking. Mr. Lee Hickox will lead congregational singing. Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening at Booneville Funeral Home, and will continue on Tuesday until 1:00 p.m. Mr. Wilson will lie in state at the church from 2 p.m. until service time. Mr. Wilson passed in peace from this earth at 5:15 a.m, Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
