The pickins got a little tougher this past week for our Pigskin Pickers but 18 of the 48 entries we received recorded double digit wins.

The most common record was 9-4 (14 of you hit that mark) and there were no perfect entries. However, 11 pickers went 10-3 while five went 11-2. Those five entries included Jason Lacy and Jerry Burcham of Glen along with Will Burns, Peggy Shinar and Tim Tyson all of Corinth.

We were forced to induce the old tiebreaker once more to determine this week’s winner between two local gentlemen who went 12-1. Lamar Keith of Corinth and Robert Strickland of Rienzi tied for the best record with the tiebreaker going to Keith. The tiebreaker game was Kossuth vs. Tishomingo County with the Aggies winning 34-0. Strickland predicted 64 total points while Keith forecasted 41 and won the $25 prize.

This week’s Pigskin Picks games can be found inside the ads one page over. We appreciate your participation and hope more of you get involved as the weeks go by this season. Competition breeds competition: right? Good luck to everyone as you attempt to pick the winners.
