If you want to see how the city handles toxic waste, go look at the old Department of Corrections property on Manpower Road between Cardinal Drive and S. Harper Road. Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality would have a field day.
Becoming a ‘progressive’ city
Kudos to the city for redoing the intersection at Harper Rd. and Proper St. It looks like a modern intersection in a progressive city. It is now possible to make a left turn from Harper Rd. to go west into town without sitting through multiple cycles of the traffic lights for the first time in years.

The writer isn't suggesting any states remain in the union. Forty-six states plus the four commonwealths equal fifty. Unless you think we have 57 states like President Obama does.

Bill, I would hope California, and New York would be two of those four. We don't need them brining their debt with them. They wanted to spend like crazy when they knew they didn't have the money, They can fend for themselves. If the people there want to get out and come here, more power to them, but leave Arnie and the legislature to live in their mess.
