Corinth put together a pair of three-run innings and a pair of hurlers combined on a three-hitter as the Warriors notched their third straight win.

The modest win streak pushed Corinth (4-3) over the .500 mark for the first time this season. Biggersville fell one game under at 2-3 following its third straight setback.

Blake Frazier earned his second win in as many starts, allowing two runs and three hits over five innings. The junior struck out seven and walked four.

Nate Massey shut the door with a pair of 1-2-3 innings.

Biggersville broke the shutout in the fifth on a long lead-off homer by Chris Shadburn. Trey Clark, who had two of the Lions hits, later scored on a sac fly by Ethan Estes as the Lions cut the deficit in half.

Corinth got the two runs back plus one in the last of the fifth. Sam Steen led off the inning with his third walk and Diante Curlee chased him home with a sinking liner to left that turned into a triple.

Graham Williams followed with a single up the middle and scored the seventh run of the night on a two-out error, the Lions’ second of the inning and fourth of the night.

Massey got the Lions in order in the seventh, including consecutive strikeouts.

Corinth scored four times on four hits over the second and third innings. A single, error and a pair of walks -- including a bases-loaded free pass to Steen -- produced the game’s first run.

The Warriors added three in the third with Jake Mitchell’s sacrifice fly the lone RBI of the inning. CHS had a pair of doubles in the inning, but a wild pitch and passed ball produced the other two runs.
